EXTERNAL TREATMENT
The properties are constructed of natural stone to match and blend with the area, with bath stonefacade to the former chapel. The bungalows are constructed with a timber frame and are well insulated to give high efficiency with very little heatloss through the wall. Roofs to the bungalows are constructed of prefabricated trusses with clay double roman tiles to blend with the older properties in the area.

The chapel apartments and the apartments at the front of the site are a conversion of existing buildings.

 

FLOORS AND CEILINGS
The floor slabs are concrete beam or ‘insitu’ concrete and the floors are constructed of a moisture resistant tongue and groove chipboard laid on sound slab celotex. All ceilings will have flat plaster finish.

WINDOWS AND DOORS
Windows are white uPVC, internally moulded panel effect doors with china knob furniture. Externally the front doors are of oak hardwood appearance with a 5 point locking system.

KITCHENS
The kitchens in these beautiful homes offer you all the design and sophistication you would expect – creating the perfect living space. They are of high quality combining superb design with innovation. Fully integrated appliances to include fridge freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave oven and waste disposal unit.

BATHROOMS
The bathrooms are fitted with an exciting range of built-in furniture. These rooms will be transformed into clutter-free zones by making every inch of space count. The furniture will not only maximise space but will look good too: sleek, stylish rooms created just for you.

HEATING

Gas central heating will be fitted – a wet radiator system. Domestic hot water heated by gas central heating boiler with chrome heated towel rails in bathrooms.

ELECTRICAL
Outside lighting to both front and rear of the building. TV points in all bedrooms and reception rooms. Cable/satellite point to enable satellite TV to be transmitted all around the home. Electrical shaver point socket to all bathrooms. Sockets and lights fitted to NHBC requirements.

DECORATION
Internal walls will be decorated with magnolia emulsion paint. Internal and external woodwork finished in white gloss paint. All ceilings will have emulsion paint finish. Coving is fitted to all apartments (except those with sloping ceilings).

 

INSULATION
Insulation to a thickness of 200mm will be laid to loft areas. External walls dry lined. Stud partitions are lined with sound deadening quilt (where applicable).

GARDEN AND PARKING
Garden areas will be shrubbed as per landscape drawing. Access driveways will be brick-paved. A boundary wall be erected around the rear of the courtyard. Each dwelling has a parking space.

EXTRAS
It may be possible to include ‘extras’ within your property, subject to stage of construction. Extras must be paid for in advance of any work.
